Wake was a bit of an issue. Easy access to shore with a park for walking your pups. Three restaurants right there; I had dinner to go at the sushi place and it was good. Farther up the street is a good bakery and beyond that is a Walgreens where you can buy milk and other beverages. Some noise from the Key Lime bar on that Friday night. Conveniently located. I would stay there again.

Great holding, west north protection. Restaurants and coffee shops close by, there is a new Aldi grocery store about a mile west. There are families fishing on the peer and ramping their boat, always a good thing for safety as there is people around. The police also came at night and in the mornings we were there.

Not too many boats at all and still plenty of room for a lot more. Peaceful and quiet on a Friday night. Listening to the live band from shore and enjoying it tremendously. It's 6:30pm and the boat wakes all but stopped now. Easy docking access to the Latana park for the dogs. Clean restrooms in the park. Nice low water here but deep enough for my 4 1/2 foot draft. Anchor caught right away.

There's room for dozens of boats and a big attraction is the nearby Olde Key Lime restaurant. They have a dinghy dock for those that wish to dine. Using SonarChart, we anchored in 8 MLLW, well out of the ICW channel. There is shore access via the public ramp which also has tie ups for shore visits.

We love the Old Key Lime House. The restaurant has a dinghy dock and friendly staff. Great food and drink at a having fun casual place. We read that you are only allowed to anchor here for 18 hours, but we spoke with a local boater and he had no knowledge about that. There were four other boats when we set the hook at 1300. We didn't leave until the next morning at 0930 and no one enforced any 18 hour rule as far as I could tell since the other boats were all still there at that time too.
We anchored in 6 feet very close to the anchor spot marked on Navionics. It would be a little shallow for deeper draft vessels to the south of that. We experienced excellent holding and protection from the NNW wind. Ground tackle came up shiny and clean!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

The anchorage is best for winds out of the north, it's rocky with a south wind. There is shore access at the public dock by the anchorage. The nearby restaurant, The Old Key Lime House, has a dinghy dock if you eat there (no pets allowed at the restaurant). We anchored just to the west of the wreck marked on the chart (we passed right over the mark, no change in reading).
