We actually dropped the hook just east of this spot at the elbow where the creek turns north as it was a bit shallower. Very quiet and protected spot. You wouldn't have known by the calmness of the water that a thunderstorm passed over us at night.

Rocna anchor set immediately in firm mud. It is quiet and peaceful, away from the ICW traffic. Nowhere to go ashore, but a great stop.
