Seems protection would be good from easterly winds since the beach and trees are on that side. Didn't go ashore, but beach is right there if you want to dinghy over or for pet relief area. ICW wasn't busy and we were pretty good distance away, so we didn't get many wakes.

Deep water, good wake protection from the shoals between anchorage and AICW but the traffic stops at dusk. We don't go ashore but many do. You can cozy up to shore if strong E wind but you will still swing withe the current

We had 20 feet after entering. Follow instructions carefully. We were one of 5 boats with lots of room. Current was minimal.
