We found once we got into South Lake, there were no more pots so we found plenty of room to anchor. This was good expect if there were north wind it would be scary. Took the dog ashore at the little "boat ramp" that the crabbers use (on the map it's called Briar Hall road, be sure to use a light at night, it's dang dark). We enjoyed a very quiet night there.

Anchored in about 7'. Holding was good. I wish our crossing of the sound the next day was just as nice!!!

But to get here you have to pass a mind field of them, there is a wide path in between once you find the pattern
