Review for Traverse City State Park

It's particularly bad from the north. If strong north wind and waves are up near Charlevoix, expect the swell to reach this anchorage. We spent one night here then moved to the west side of the same bay and it wasn't much better. Due to anchoring in 12 feet with 8:1 scope we had no holding issues even with 3 foot swell and 30 knot gusts. My advice would be spend your time in the west bay for all factors involved.
