Watch for oyster cages on tall, brown stakes in the anchorage area. There is a park and public dock managed by the Mathews Land Conservancy and it is fine to tie dinghies up to the floating dock and get pets ashore. Tim and Linda with the Land Conservancy are very nice and welcoming. The docks are used for crew rowing teams and you may get to watch them practicing.
