At entrance the depth is 28 feet (414 pool). As the anchorage turns south stay 100 feet off the west bank for 17 feet depth. At the anchorage icon there is 22 feet of water. For better protection continue to hug the west bank for another 0.3 miles and anchor with very good all-around protection from wind and wakes in 15 feet of water with enough room for a dozen boats. No current. Shore access on east shore. We visited this anchorage on a lovely fall Saturday and it was clear that this was a favorite day anchorage for the locals. There were 20 other boats spread around the bay and more coming when we left. Surprisingly, there was no loud music in the bay when we were there. Cell phone reception was 1 bar Verizon 2 bar ATT and T-Mobile.

Quiet and beautiful scenery. Could take the tender for more exploration. Mud bottom. Good hold. Wildlife abundant. At winter pool still had 15-20 ft. Recommend!
