Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 27'
Draft: 4.0'Overall Rating:5Holding:5Wind Protection:5Anchored here overnight in August. I draw only 4' but still had to watch the chart and depth meter closely, as the area between the jetties gets very shallow very quickly. Good protection. Easy access to Pilots Point Marina (one of the best anywhere) and the Sound.

There will be early morning fisherman creating wakes through the anchorage. The current should also be noted here. We have a nylon rode that has fouled on the keel more than once until we learned to use a kellet. Take a dinghy ride up the river to Bill’s Seafood for good music, food, and drink.
