Super stop. Only one staff member so you may need to be self-sufficient. Loaner bikes were fun and lots of great walking. The pool was enjoyed after a long day on the water. Good bathroom. There are indeed cats that will come on your boat.

The Marina grew on us. Staff was nice and accommodating, but seemed understaffed while we were there. Pool was nice. Appreciated the loaner car. Depth was fine. Seems like it had run down and might be being put back together.

Located on the south side of Deltaville, you approach Fishing Bay Marina via the Piankatank River entrance. Pay attention to the navigational marks on the twisty approach. Fishing Bay contains the marina and a well protected anchorage that will hold over a dozen boats in 15 to 17 feet MLW. Approach the marina entrance slowly as the fairway requires some maneuvering. The marina is half fixed and half floating docks, all in good condition. We had 7.5 feet of water MLW at our slip. The dock was in excellent condition and power and water were easily accessible on the dock. The dock staff was on hand to help and assisted with all our needs. The marina is nestled up in a pocket with excellent protection from all directions except the south. Although the southern exposure is not open to the bay, there is more fetch from that direction and a good blow from the south might make the marina a bit bouncy.

The marina is actually close to shopping and the courtesy car made resupply a breeze. There are also four courtesy bikes available. The local (large) West Marine store was a mile and a quarter away so we managed to pick up a few items we needed in addition to groceries that were about 2 miles from the dock. Any trip to Deltaville should include a visit to Nauti Nell's Marine Consignment Store. The place is fabulous. The facilities at Fishing Bay Marina were located up from the docks by the swimming pool that, when we were here, was closed for the season. The bathrooms with separate shower stalls were in good shape and clean as was the laundry. The laundry is operated by $2.00 tokens that you purchase at the office. There is also a very nice Captain's Lounge. The marina has very good OnSpot Wi-Fi. Cellular service for all three carriers was also very good.

Nice marina. Floating finger piers on fixed dock, but it's OK. Makes stern access a little tough, but we managed.
Courtesy car is nice. Needed since everything in Deltaville is distant from each other. No town to speak of, just a couple of shops on a highway that ends at Stingray Point.
Pool was big and refreshing. Restrooms were clean, and laundry was functional.
Access was easy, with well marked channel and plenty of water.
One odd thing: There's a feral cat that lives at the marina. Nice calico. She adopted our helm for a night sleeping area. Found her curled up there two nights. No harm, no foul.
Would stop again if in the area and needed a place to tie up and plug in.

Nice fixed docks, looked recently redone. They also have floating docks. They have a courtesy car and bikes available. Very small town. Almost nothing open on Sunday, but that is not marinas fault.

The staff may not like being called rustic but that is the vibe and we love it. We had this as a run to before gale marina and we stayed over some significant weather. Cozy, comfy, and snug as a bug in a rug. Dirt parking lots, Pune needles on the boat, friendly small town atmosphere make this an amazing place to stop. Don't expect Floridian resort marina amenities but enjoy the small town nautical sensibilities. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay. It's low floating docks so we were stairs to board and exit Eoti. Seems to have a great community of like minded sailors too.

Dock hand was very helpful and docking was easy. Very quiet and protected bay from storms.
    Will stay again.

Stayed here September 17, 2021. Nice stop on our way back to Norfolk. We had a very nice slip on a floating dock. Showers were a longer walk from slip than some marinas but were clean and nice. Pool looked nice but was not open when we were there.

This is a well-known stop, all the previous reviews do it justice but just wanted to make sure others know. Stop here, you'll be in for a treat!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The owners and staff are very easy to work with. The place is dog friendly and the dockage is in good condition, well maintained and easy in and out. The pool is great too.

Fishing Bay Marina is charming. Quiet and secluded, it has a great staff and wonderful views of Fishing Bay. Deep water approaches and plenty of slips with Valvtect marine fuel. Chesapeake Boat Works is part of the marina operation, so if you need hauled out or any work done, the crew is on hand. We've stayed several weeks and enjoyed the ambience immensely. The courtesy car is available up until 5 pm, or so. Get your shopping done early. There's also a shuttle during the season. Pool, bathhouse, laundry and captain's lounge are all clean and squared away. Watch your approach into Fishing Bay from the Piankatank. Mind the markers before you make your turn. The shoal off of Stove Point is a long one.
