We stayed at the private dock but walked and had a view of this dock which is in almost new condition. I was told it was recently rebuilt after a fire. Pilings are high enough to reach most boat's rub rails. The only issue I saw with this dock is the payment system. You have to pay at City Hall, not the library, and they need to be open otherwise you wait to pay or put payment in the honor box. Please note this dock is open to the public. For what it is worth I was warned by the locals to lock up my bikes although I saw nothing in town that concerned me. I may up my rating when I get an opportunity to stay here but do to the payment method and unlimited public access only 4 stars.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

The strong wooden face dock and high pilings provide a strong platform for dockage. The pilings are lined with small boards which make them difficult to tie to since there are no cleats. Potable city water combined with 30 and 50 amp power at the pedestals are in good condition. The restrooms are complete but could have used a cleaning on the days I was there. Limited options exist for eating but pizza is available perhaps ½ mile away or grab a burger at the pool hall. Eagles members have their lodge across the street and it appears to be well regarded for meals on many nights. At a dollar a foot this is a great stop along the waterway.

Basic fixed dock with power and water right along the river. No cleats but heavy duty posts with thick bumpers in good condition. Not much wake protection, but there wasn't much wake, either. I was unable to reserve on the phone but did find space on this long dock. A guy came by later in the day to collect payment at the rate of $1/ft (tax included) and I was able to pay with a check. He also gave me a combination to the restrooms that he said included a shower. (I did not visit the facilities so I can't report on their condition.) Walking distance from several restaurants and a Dollar Store. My only complaint is that the docks were really high and it was difficult for me to get on and off my relatively small boat.

The last lockage for the Lock must be before 1630. We arrived at 1635 and were too late. The Moore Haven City Dock was a great place to spend the night with power and electric. The docks are sturdy and well built. You can go across the street to City Hall to pay the $1/foot charge (office closes at 1700) or a guy came by about sunset (1730) to collect the cash.

Pretty basic and inexpensive. Small town with not much around. Nice, quiet spot. Restrooms across the street.

We tied here in the morning since River House could not take us. Then Roland Martin called and had a spot for us, so we moved on by 11am. Electric and water worked fine on dock closest to the lock. Wifi from library on dock was so so, but in the library was excellent. WhatYachtToDo

Very easy to go along this well constructed dock with vertical rubber bumpers on the Pilings. Wifi from library OK when outside. Showers OK. Charge card add 3%. Best part was the small but relatively new restaurant Haven Fresh with some of the best fresh Mexican food we’ve had. Their breakfast menu looked good too. Only about a half mile walk from dock. Plus they own the small ice cream shop next door with fresh smoothie also. All very reasonably priced and very neat and clean.

Good face dock with power/water for $1/ft. Includes power. Restrooms/shower are across the street behind city hall. Stopped after westbound crossing and Moore Haven Lock. WiFi in the library across the street if you need it. No restaurant within easy walking distance.

A great option if you don't want to anchor out. The city has made using this unattended lay-along as hassle free as possible (see website). Dock is in good shape with power and water available for only $1 / foot. Literally almost a stone's throw from the Moore Haven Lock.
