We lucked into being there when Roy Eaton was hosting a potluck near the A Dock, which added to our experience. The uncoded washrooms near the docks were always dirty looking, the coded ones in better shape. Dock hands helpful in docking. Fuel and Pumpout available at Wally's. Docks are close to downtown shopping. They might place you in slips east, or west, or along the wall. The amenities of town elevate this one from a 3 to a 4 for me.

There is current at Little Current. Look at the ATONS in the channel to determine direction and strength of the current. The dock hands are skilled and do a great job of assisting your docking. Good news-- the new washrooms have showers!! There are washrooms at both ends of the town dock. The grocery store is not a long walk. From the west end of the marina follow the sign up the metal stairs. It is about a block from the top of the stairs. Be sure to stop in for the daily broadcast of Cruisers Net. Laundry is about a block from the town dock.

Port of Little Current, 16 August 2022. The port occupies the expanse (Boyle Marina to Turner Park) of the wall with multiple finger docks with slips. From the West to East the docks are numbered starting with Alpha which is nearest to Boyle Marina. During my visit the current appeared minimal in the channel; however, its effect at the piers was noticeable. The current was flowing following the curve of the land which can influence docking and departing. I witnessed departing boats struggle with bow in the current which influenced me to back out into the channel.

Nice marina and great town. Nice facilities. Cruisers net is an added plus. Current directs whether you bow or stern in to slip

Great place to stop and easy access. Staff are friendly and helpful. Groceries are a 20 minute walk although some items can be found on the main street.

The dock wall is easy to get in and out, good electric and water, mediocfe wifi. The bathrooms (no shower) are left open to the public, so by mid-morning, they were filthy. The dockhands did not demonstrate the usual Canadian friendliness and welcoming--they seemed disinterested in doing anything for boaters. At $1.90 / ft in 2018, this marina was a disappointment.

The town is two blocks long--cute--and there are two food stores with more than basics but not even close to the selection of a major super market. And the prices for most items are very high.

Notwithstanding all these criticisms, I would stop in Little Current again, but probably investigate some of the other facilities in town.

Excellent place for provisions. Beer, grocery, restrooms. On the wall was exceptional and met several boaters. The only downfall was the price of laundry. Save it for another spot. At the time it was $6.00 per load.

Stayed on the wall here over night. The dock hand was really nice and informative and the wi-fi was great. The bathrooms were shockingly clean considering the docks are run by the town. Close walk to EVERYTHING - and the coffee shop and the health food cafe across the street were both great!
