Everyone says you could spend a whole summer cruising the Chesapeake and not see it all - so true! If you like a quiet, out of the way place, in a safe, protected and beautiful setting, this is a great marina (nice anchorages nearby, too). New owners as of 2 years ago (as we understand), Bill and Marissa are very nice, good people. Clean bathrooms, hot showers, solid docks. We are a 36' Trawler powerboat with 4' draft, needing a 1-2 night transient slip. Most of the boats appear be to long term sails but we were very comfortable. We didn't use other amenities such as ship store, fuel, pump out, charcoal grill, or fire pit but all are on site (no laundry). They also have a lift and allow self-service work. It didn't feel like we were in a boatyard though. The charted approach appears shallow; we didn't see less than 7', about 2 hours before low tide. Beautiful place, great folks to deal with and full maintenance services. No restaurant or bar but nice setup for a barbecue and fire pit.
