I cannot say enough good things about this marina and the readily available places to visit and enjoy. This is one of the finest areas you can visit by water!

First the Marina: Eva (her dad built the marina in 1998) and her husband, Kyle, are amazingly welcoming, caring and kind. Their attitudes are positive; "We aren't perfect but we sure try to make everyone happy!" It's a wonderful marina to spend time in and they're generous in letting boaters use their courtesy vehicle with no additional cost to pump out!

The area, Florence and Muscle Shoals towns, offer a wealth of interesting places to visit and history to learn. Some of our very favorites included: FAME Music Studio, Muscle Shoals Music Studio, Helen Keller Birthplace, Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum House, Tom's Wall, Coon Dog Cemetery, Rattlesnake Bar and local watering holes with live music. The area is a "gotta visit" kind of place!

One great tip we received from the Visitor's Center (worth the walk around to visit there as they provide lots of brochures and ideas for visitors!) is to rent a vehicle from the Long-Lewis Ford dealer in Muscles Shoals! We used the courtesy van to get to the dealership and paid only $112 for 3 days and drove a Lincoln Coursair with only 500 miles on it.

Loved this place and would definitely return!

As reviewed previously, Kyle and his staff do an amazing job managing a very dynamic situation with the Wilson lock issues. It would be easy for them to wash their hands of it because its not "their" issue, but they do not. Schedule changes, coordination, helping boats in & out all while maintaining a smile and good humor. Great facility- and the onsite restaurant is pretty good as well. Entrance is somewhat narrow but depths are good.

This is a very good marina! The issues with the Wilson large lock chamber have been challenging for Loopers heading to the Fall Rendezvous. Kyle, the marina manager was great at being the main point of contract with the lock master. Every morning he is on the phone with the lock to facilitate our departure times to the lock. The marina staff assisted with docking. Facilities were clean. Great handout concerning the area. Follow their directions for entering the marina and all will go well.

Great stop in a great location. There is a coon dog cemetery in the area - what's not to like ?! Easy entrance and fuel access. Clean private restrooms and shower. Courtesy van with tons of places for provisioning. Their PDF info sheet is a great help, with contacts for everything under the sun. Very good info on the Wilson Lock passage. Also good restaurant on site. Quiet stay which was welcomed after a long day of high winds and rain in route. Florence Harbor will be a regular stay for us as the TN river system is our "Home waters".

Amazing marina & employees!!! Amy is THE BEST!!! We wanted to stay in Florence for the weekend but there was no room. Amy worked her magic and got us space even if we had to park on the gas dock, we were willing!!! It's the people that make the difference and Amy is one of those people.

The entrance is well marked and very nice docks. Always a great stop, this is a must stop if you haven't visited the Muscle Shoals or the Florence area, Kyle is the guy for Wilson lock timing and area information. Very informative visitors building at the park. The onsite restaurant has good food at reasonable prices.
Be sure to visit the music studio's, Rattlesnake Saloon, and the Coon Dog cemetery.

Ok, place to stay before locking through Wilson lock and dam which is a pain. Stayed with friends on the firestorm. Went into town to eat because restaurant kitchen was nasty. $1.25 per foot, slips not so great. Courtesy car available, internet is good

Stayed here for a week awaiting weather and Wilson Lock delays. Kyle and his team were great to work with, kind and accommodating, and very knowledgeable about local river conditions.

The marina is well run, a great place to lay up for a bit, and the restaurant is outstanding. Easy to get downtown via Uber or taxi, and the marina has a courtesy car. Easy three mile trip up the canal to Wilson Lock.

When coming back down the river, I will make a point to stop here again.

Great place to stay! Don't miss it. Wonderful marina owners. Internet, laundry, showers. Couldn't have asked for a nicer marina after a couple days on the hook. Very polite and accommodating staff. Park right beside the marina. Courtesy car!

Well kept marina in a charming town- stayed here twice coming and going up the Tennessee River. Courtesy car allowed us to grocery shop and have dinners in town. (Odette and Ricatoni's are excellent.) But the restaurant at the marina (River Bottom Grill) had amazing burgers and sandwiches. The marina staff is friendly and gives helpful information about getting through busy Wilson Lock. The park next to the marina made for a great walk.

Nice marina with extremely helpful staff. Recently re-wired with GFCIs. We had no issues with our 50A service, but heard that others have. If your boat is safe, it shouldn't be a problem.

Restaurant on site as surprisingly good. Just don't look too close...its kind of 'rustic' ;-)

Several restaurants in town which is walkable but have to cross a very busy street. Courtesy car is available for that or for a run for groceries/big box supplies on the other side of the river.

If heading upriver, its a great location for staging prior to Wilson Lock. Call the lock in the AM before casting off to avoid an unpleasant surprise.
