We have stayed here several times as we have friends who keep their boat here. store, staff, YROC Restaurant are all good. A bit of a hike to the bathrooms, pool & laundry (though there are closer toilets between the restaurant & store when it's open.)
Their lack of pump out is legendary - mos. Almost a year! This time we called before arrival: "new pumpout being installed today". When we left 2 days later: "pumpout has been installed, but hasn't been tested yet"!
No courtesy car. Nearest grocery store is in Hayes, VA, a short Uber/Lyft.
Be careful on the docks. They are floaters, surfaced with Trex. Now showing their age, there are lots of sags and uneven parts due to the multiple hinged hatches that can be a surprising trip hazard

Great help tying up and staff in the ship store helpful. YROC great place to eat in or out. Would have liked to have the ability to use car for groceries. Laundry facilities were 1.25 which was great!

Immaculate restroom/showers! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Restaurant & bar at the end of the dock is really good and convenient. Eggheads Diner is a mile away with good food and affordably priced. Only reason this didn't get 5 stars is there isn't a courtesy car or grocery store within reasonable walking distance. Easy access slips and T-dock is always a plus in my book.

04/16/2023 Came in as a transient. Staff friendly and helpful. The on site restaurant is wonderful. Good service and good selection of food well prepared. Ships store is well stocked. Restrooms and showers clean but a good walk from the docks. Laundry has 3 washing machines and three dryers. $1.25 a load. All seem to work well. Floating docks with good sized cleats. We enjoyed our stay. But, Unfortunately Pump out was not functioning which was a major disappointment to say the least. $2.40' no discounts.

We found this to be a really good marina. Great community atmosphere. Restaurant is one of the best marina restaurants we have sampled.

Nice floating docks, great bathrooms and was comfortable on a T-head. Pump-out is not straight forward - marina is not in control. Must submit request by noon on Thursday for a max of 25 gal on Fri, Sat, Sun only. Since we arrived on a Friday, there were no options for us. Free shuttle was non-existent, and when we wanted to use the courtesy vehicle we found the office closed early and no one answered/responded to voice mail. The marina should clarify amenities being offered.

Stopped here for fuel in early May 2021 and couldn't have asked for more. Nice docks, fast pumps, helpful staff and a fair price.

Fuel dock is kinda tucked away on the northeast side of the marina, but easy in/out once you see it.

Attention to detail makes this marina shine. From very helpful and professional staff to very well maintained facilities, all contribute for pleasant stay. Pool, courtesy car, barbeques, laundry… the list just goes on at to what is available.

Navigation straight forward with full length piers (one side) and wide fairways.

We were running to hide from some strong winds and heavy rains. We pulled in for fuel, and saw how protected the marina was. We stayed for 3 days riding out the storm. The marina offered a loaner car, we were able to pick up supplies. Also, a shuttle to Yorktown was convenient, so we were able to explore some historical sites.

A very neat place with beautiful boats, sail or motor. The dockmaster was really doing her best to help us. The environment is beautiful. How can I recommend it more??

Very nice facility and staff. Left the boat there through the winter till early May - had some service done as well. The facility overall was very good, however the men’s restroom/showers need some updating and better cleaning. The women’s were much better. Good restaurant on site and numerous within a few miles.

York River is a great marina. We visited some friends there last spring and tied up for the day. Their ship store is superb and the restaurant is top notch. We didn't ask about a courtesy car, but you're not far from nearby restaurants on U.S. 17 and plenty of places to provision. There's also a little seafood shack that sells crabs, scallops, etc. in the parking lot of a convenience store on U.S. 17. He's not open all the time, but it's a great place to pick up something fresh when you decide to prepare dinner aboard.
