Second time we have stayed here, for the following reasons. The staff is great, very helpful, it is quiet up the river at Rondout, fuel was reasonable. Walk into town is doable, people we met there were very friendly.

Staff was super nice and they fit us in. The floating docks are a little rough but fine. Plenty of water, easy in & out. My only complaint - and it is NOT about this marina, is that there isn't much on this side of the creek and although it is an easy dinghy ride back down the creek and to the other side in Kingston, there are no dinghy docks there. We had to pay $10 for 2 hour max at the City Marina.

Decent facilities, wonderful staff (Brandon was great and a hoot, Nick helped us out when we were away from the boat and needed something checked on), pool is nice, quiet protected location. Short dinghy ride to Historic Waterfront. Rented a car and this location was better than Croton for access to FDR, CIA, Rhinebeck, Vanderbilt Mansion, etc. also recommend Uptown Kingston and the Saturday Farmers Market (note it is a 2+ mile uphill walk or worth an easy Uber).

This is a privately owned marina. Andrew, the owner, is super friendly and went out of his way to offer us help. This is a quiet dockage away from downtown Kingston but we were able to ride our electric bikes to town with no problem. We rented a car for the day and went to the Airodrone in Rhinebeck, CIA, FDR musuem and home and finished the day with Maverick at the theater.

It is good to get off the Hudson. We were running from TD Henri. Rondout is the perfect hurricane hole, well protected from all sides. Staff and dock residents were friendly and helpful. It is good to be farther back off the main fairway, as the boat traffic in and out of Kingston was more than we would have expected. It is a good walk up a hill into town, where there is a small grocery store. Dinghy ride to the falls up the creek was scenic, easy access to restaruants on the water on the Kingston side of the creek. Some historical parts are worth the trip. We would definately come back again.

Great marina and staff. Kingston is a nice town with lots of history. Pool, laundry, and very protected marina with floating docks.

I can only give this Marina a three star rating. The docks are run down. The power is good but the location across the river from Kingston and all the restaurants is not good. One bright spot is the casual, outdoor only restaurant. It was basic but good

The marina docks are weathered but good power and water. Dock hands knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are mostly boat yard, but there is a nice pool. Round Out Creek offers great storm protection

These people were WONDERFUL. We arrived after a long day of travel on the rough Hudson in incredibly strong, gusty winds in a 36' boat. They helped us wrestle her safely to the dock and managed other arriving boats similarly well. Nash, on the dock, pointed out to us that our dinghy, mounted on the on the stern of the boat, was not supported properly (a support had broken enroute in the rough waters) and immediately helped us get it fixed. The owner, Nick, took my husband to the local Home Depot to get a part needed for the repair and wouldn't accept payment for the ride. Others who keep their boats regularly at the marina stopped by to offer needed muscle or guidance or encouragement. What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this marina to transients or to anyone else!

Fantastic marina. Easy access and plenty of depth. The service, people and grounds are all top notch. Great place to spend time with family and friends. Nice pool, playground, horseshoe pits, shower and laundry facilities, etc. Best part - the restaurant is amazing and super affordable

We stopped here twice; once going south to NYC and also on the way back home. Camp ground atmosphere. Clean showers and bath. There is food during business hours, as well as gas. Very helpful people. At the second light house going south. There are other restaurants on the river as well.
