This is a very nice Marina. We were here 2 days due to wind conditions. There is lots of help docking and they work late! One washer and dryer for $1 each. Free bikes to borrow. It's walking distance to the old lighthouse and about a 3 miles to the new lighthouse, which is the tallest lighthouse in Michigan I was told. There is a fantastic general store that carries a great selection of wine and cheese as well as frozen wagu and prime steaks and huge scallops. There are deli sandwiches, pizza and a dinner special each day as well as a great variety of ice cream. The store is open until 9pm! We were fortunate to have a friend there that took us on a tour of the area. There was a wooden boat show they were setting up for on Saturday and we got to see some of the boats the day before.

Due to the wind and waves, we've been here since Sunday 9/24/23. This is one of the most beautiful places ever!! The staff here treats you like family!! They are very kind and friendly!!!! Dog friendly doesn't come close to describing how they treated our dog, they're absolutely the best!!!
The general store is also a great place!!!!

Beautiful place!!! Preque Isle could not be a more beautiful harbor. General store across the street for odds & ends. The facilities were fine - not the nicest I have seen. Dock master was a nice guy, helped us get settled & docked.

What an amazing little spot! The best harbor shop so far. Really good menu and ice cream shop on site. The store had a little of everything. We are deep keeled and had no problem. The staff was so helpful. I wish we could have stayed a full day.

Arrival 4 June 2022. A natural harbor, its significance to the Ottawa Indians and European settlers is evident. I followed the range (274 deg) into Presque Isle Harbor. Buoys were not deployed at the State Harbor channel, I followed the electronic chart. Water depth is between 11 to 12 ft in channel and inner harbor. Harbor piers and service posts are in excellent condition. Restroom is clean and convenient. No internet is offered. A marina supplies store and general convenience store are adjacent to the harbor.

Another great Michigan DNR run marina. They all seem to be run by very competent dockmaster. Great location with a little restaurant and convenient store on site. A short 1/2 mile walk to the old lighthouse which you can climb to the top.

Great place to get away. No town, no WiFi, weak cell service, but crystal clear water with a nice cove and beach that is an easy walk or dinghy ride from the marina.

Beefy floating dock with both cleats and posts, decent restroom and showers.
There is a little general store and deli on site. It has good pizza.

Nice marina with wide slips and well protected. Friendly helpful staff. Great store across the road with groceries, beer and a great selection of wine and liquor. Deli and pizza that are very good. Lots of places to walk a dog including a beach and a 1/4 trail down to the light house. The light house was built in 1830 and is open for tours.

A great marina, typical of the State sponsored refuges; clean restrooms/showers, helpful staff, docks in great shape, protected harbor; has a nice store across the road with all the essential foods/alcohol available. We would definitely stay again.
