Harbor East is a great location and has quality floating docks, restrooms/showers, and lounge. Our experience was poor due to lack of service. There was only 1 employee visible during our entire stay. He was helpful when asked to assist with specific tasks. He did help us tie up, only to realize we were in 5’7” of water at mid-tide when the reservation showed draft at 5’. So, we had to move and tie up again. The docks were covered in bird poop, so WE had to hose that off, but it still got onto our lines as they don’t keep it clean. We were given a keycard and a code written on a Post It note. Our keycard failed to open the gate at 10pm. Called the security number on the fence and was told they had no way to get us in. Fortunately, another boater allowed us in. We requested a pump out at a specific time - no one showed. I had to call to ensure someone (same employee) was in the office to exchange dollars for quarters to do laundry. The lightbulb in the laundry area is out.

Inadequate staffing. It appeared only one person was handling the marina office and assisting arriving yachts tie into the dock. I raised the marina on the radio and was advised to stand-by for 5 min. But after waiting 30 min, I came into the outside dock and docked myself.

Special downtown destination with excellent security and a remarkable staff. The floating docks are in brand new condition and the marina sits under beautiful tall office and residential buildings in the Harbor East neighborhood. Short walk to Fells Point.

Harbor East was the location for a group of boats we traveled with for the weekend. They were attentive, friendly and helpful. The weather helped by being wonderful, but our stay at Harbor East Marina was one of the best of the season. We will return.

Really nice marina, super clean. Wish they had a piece of grass or pee pad inside the gates for the dogs to go to the bathroom, not many places outside to take your dog.

Great location and nicely kept piers. Everyone very helpful. The only problem is that they let boats stick out of the slips which can make docking tricky.

The marina was very nice and clean, the dock hand Jack was super helpful when we arrived on Saturday. It would be a nice addition to have an area inside the marina to walk your dog, taking them the international circle was very inconvenient and dangerous on Saturday night with the high traffic.

We had a group of twenty boats visit Harbor East and we all had a great time. The marina is very well maintained with floating piers. The restrooms and other facilities are spotless. We will visit again.

Great marina with friendly and helpful staff. This is a great location for some of the best shopping and dining in Baltimore. And you can walk to everything! We came for a concert at the Per Six Pavilion and it was so convenient - 5 minute walk! Bathrooms are really nice and clean. Definitely a great place to stay for an inner harbor visit!

Booking was easy and confirmation call was nice. Once the dock staff got us tied up, they were nowhere to be found for additional assistance - office or docks. Pump out was supposed to happen first thing in the morning, it did not, and we could not find anyone to figure out why.

Generally good. I had to remind the deck hand to hook up my power as he was leaving and one of the pump out stations was not functioning.

Excellent stay, from the moment we arrived to dock though shoving off, Harbor East was wonderful host. We made it to a ball game at night, then next day a morning jog and then brunch. Great service and very helpful docking, they make you captains look like a pro coming in. Can’t wait to come back.

Secure marina facility with very helpful dock staff. The "flag system" is very helpful for ease in finding the right dock. We were there for Independence Day and the fireworks were spectacular. Boaters lounge is convenient and dog friendly. We spent time there in the AC during the hot summer days. Close to restaurants and we even found a movie theater nearby, what a great perk for a hot afternoon entertainment.

A very good marina. We sat on the 900 ft long face dock. Freighters and barges passed by and there was no disturbance from wake. Excellent facilities- dock was in perfect order; power, water and dockside pump out all worked flawlessly. Showers and restrooms were impeccable. Staff were helpful and courteous. Easy and safe walking distance to Fells Point and dozens of bars and eateries. A marina in a great location well worth a visit.

This is not our first visit to the marina. Upon arrival at the marina, Tim and Matt met us and quickly got us secured to the floating dock. The power required a 50amp to 30amp adaptor, which we carry. The dockhands also brought our welcome package and keycard for the gate to the boat.

The bathhouse and laundry are outside the gated docks in the office across the boardwalk. The restrooms were clean.

Marina is within walking distance to many of the inn harbor attractions, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Having docked at several locations in the area, I have found that this was the best dock for our needs. Right in the downtown area and close to Fells Point. The floating docks is my choice for sitting out a storm when i'm on the Chesapeake Bay. The dock master and dock crew were exceptional as well. I highly recommend Harbor East Marina.

The physical marina is now terrific. New floating docks and full length finger piers. Drawback: nearly impossible to get a response on VHF, experienced by all 3 boats in our group, and a powerboat coming in single-handed who ended up in the slip next to us. It may have been because it was Memorial Day weekend, and the staff is clearly not yet trained, but a marina needs to answer VHF quickly and efficiently.

Dockhands were very helpful, but it was a very hot stay because the new electric towers would trip the breaker when we tried to use both 30 amp cables. We never had this problem at any other marina! Also they said we owed another $82.00 dollars because Snag-a-Slip did not charge us enough money.
They ran out of ice during our stay and we never got the pump out that was requested.

Harbor East Marina just completed its total renovation. Have been going there since 2003, 2 to 3 times a season. No comparison to prior years in terms of facility; staff is extremely competent and go out of their way to make sure your stay is what you want it to be. Its location in the heart of where it is all happening in Baltimore just adds to the marina.

We have stayed in marinas all over the mid Atlantic and this one gets our "best ever" rating. Friendly, helpful staff willing to go the extra mile, prime location in the best part of the Inner Harbor. Brand new docks. Clean new bathrooms. Dog friendly. Walk or bike to anywhere. We love it here!

Great Marina at foot of Mariott Hotel, five star restaurants short walking distance and then you have Little Italy, a secret neighborhood of more than 40 Italian Restaurants. You can eat in different places for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two weeks. We enjoy this neighborhood and can catch the water taxi to the ball stadiums. Great!
