Great little spot. This was our first stop heading north from St. Clair Shores. Lovely restaurant on site and great sunrises!

Well protected harbor with good docks. 'Typical' state park restroom/shower facilities. Adjacent to a nice park area. Jeff's Market is a short walk for a small but well stocked grocery store.

The day we arrived, tried several calls on VHF and phone to get a slip assignment for our reservation with no answer. Attempted a slow pass by the fuel dock to get the assignment and the dock hand looked at us and walked away. Fortunately a friend was already at the marina and was able to relay the info.

Marina was severely understaffed and the attitude of the employee on duty gave the impression that she would have rather been somewhere else. Hopefully, she was just having a bad day and the reception is not typical.

Harbor well protected by seawall.. Managed by DNR staff and office located on fuel dock. Staff very accommodating and onsite 8 am - 10 pm. They offer reservable slips as well as 'first come first serve' slips. Docks open to public, but restrooms/showers secure with keypad access for boaters. Adjacent restaurant, park, sandy beach and playground. Jeff's Market and laundromat 4 blocks. Smaller food and liquor store 2 blocks.

Good place to stop. Docks in good shape and staff exceptional -- they looked after pumping diesel and pumpout. Only stayed overnight and didn't get into the community. Would stay again.

Lexington State Dock, 15 May. A cozy marina with water in the turning basin of 14 feet and shallows to 8 feet at the slips for smaller boats. Following the recent repair of the diesel line, diesel is available. On 15 May price of diesel is $3.21. Access to northern pier slips is by a channel bounded by breakwater and beach with 8 feet water and width of 35 feet (estimate). Fairway distance between these piers is 35 feet, so, close quarter maneuvering is essential. A close walk to downtown, located on Huron Ave has several restaurants. I patronized Jeff’s Market place, a short walking distance from the marina. Post script, no water/moisture observed in fuel filters after 4 hour transit, reference concerns with water in diesel from 2020 comments.
