Stayed at KW Bight seven nights MAR '24 due to weather delaying our departure for Marco Island. Stan, Prince, and Olivia could not have been more accommodating. Perfect location to explore what KW has to offer.

I highly recommend Key West Bight Marina. I have been going there for over 11 years. Prince and Stan are great to work with. Great location and within walking distance to downtown.

Tom in the Dockmaster's office of Key West Bight Marina was extremely rude during our recent visit!! When we arrived, we anchored in Fleming Key and took our dinghy to shore and immediately went into the office to purchase a dinghy dock pass for the week. We had planned on being there for 5 days then heading out to the Dry Tortugas. We were told that the only way they would sell us a dinghy dock pass was if we agreed to register for a local pump out service which would come once a week. We explained that we were cruisers and not local liveaboards and that we would not be there for more than a week but Tom insisted, so we signed up for it online anyway. The day that they were supposed to come for a pump out, there was very high wind and they never showed up. We went to Conch Harbor marina next door and got a pump out later that week before heading to the Dry Tortugas. When we got back, we planned to stay in Key West for a few days until the weather calmed down then planned to head to Marathon. We again tried purchasing the dinghy pass for those few days and Tom told us we could not because we weren't on his pump out list. We told him we signed up for it, showed him the email confirmation that we registered, and also offered to show proof of our recent pump out from the neighboring marina, but he refused to look at it and said it wasn't his problem and refused us the dinghy pass. My husband was originally dealing with Tom and I came in halfway through the conversation. I asked Tom several questions and he just stared at me and would not speak to me, only my husband. He was sexist and extremely disrespectful. As we were leaving with a very bad taste in our mouth of this marina, we observed another guest having a bad experience as well. He was trying to get a slip for his boat and had been coming there for the past 10 years. He was told there is a new rule that any boat over 18' had to pay more. The customer assured him that the boat was 17'6" and Tom started arguing with him saying they their records showed his boat was 18' from previous years. This guest even pulled up manufacturer's specs on his boat and showed Tom, but again, Tom refused to look or care. Tom needs to be fired and should never be in a customer facing job ever again. He is unnecessarily rude to paying customers and forced out a lot of business that day by his refusal to think outside the box. Very disappointed in this marina!

This is where the dinghy dock is if you're anchored out. $8.00 per day.

We have stayed here twice. Both for a week at a time. They are the most reasonable. Nice amenities, very friendly employees. Right by the brewery which was a plus. Easy access to anything we wanted. Felt very safe even without gates.

Have stayed at KWBM twice, the first time for 30 days and the 2nd for about 2 weeks. Reasonable prices, good amenities, friendly staff, especially Rachel. Great getaway to Key West without paying high hotel prices.

I found the dockhands to be courteous and helpful in the 10 years I've been coming to the Key West Bight Marina each February and March.

There are four types of docks, be sure to specify which type you want: fixed docks with no fingers (we use this type) where you exit over the bow or off the aft end up a dock ladder), side-to fixed dock, fixed dock with fingers, and floating docks.

The dock house was renovated in 2010 with new showers, bathrooms, and laundry area - with an air conditioned, all tile interior. It has a badge lock entry for security. Free pump out valves are spaced along each dock. A cart with hoses is available at the dock office if you want to do it yourself or a dockhand will help if needed. Free WiFi is provided by OnSpotWiFi and I typically measured 30 Mbps at my dock - we streamed Netflix and Amazon Prime every night, no problems. For long term renters, electricity is metered. Despite the nearby restaurants with music, it's quiet at night, they close down by 11:00 pm.

The real attraction of the marina is the closeness to nearby restaurants (200 ft to Schooner Wharf) and Duval Street (three blocks away). The free Duval Loop bus stops at the street next to the marina which provides easy access to all of Duval Street attractions.

Winn Dixie and Publix will both deliver to the end of your dock for a monthly fee, we used the service once a week. Laundry picked up, washed, folded, and delivered back to your boat is available for a reasonable fee. I'm a runner and I went out every morning for 30 minutes, easy to run in Key West where it's flat.

We enjoy it and come back every year.

This marina is right in town so we enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. The shower rooms are nicely done, and kept clean. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to our changing requests and we were able to have parcels delivered here.

Great spot. Very convenient to restaurants, stores, and everything Key West has to offer. Grocery store is several miles away, but we had groceries delivered. Prince the Dockmaster is awesome.

We were never treated more rudely at any fuel dock than we were at the fuel dock of the Key West Bight Marina. My wife was downright bullied. I will never go back there again. Our experience with the same staff at the dinghy dock was fine. We called 15 minutes in advance to let them know we were coming. On arrival a staff member on the dock told her "this is like a hotel, you have to call in advance." I was pumping out two tanks and taking on fuel. I was handed the fuel dispenser and the pump out hose and the staff disappeared. When I finished pumping out I coiled up the pump out hose on the dock because no one was around then a staff member came out and asked me if I rinsed it with salt water as if I was supposed to know that was my job - not his. Another staff member asked if we wanted water. My wife told him ok then he told her we were taking too long and all this should be done at the same time and we were taking too long. I asked if he had someone else coming in. He said no but other customers will see us there and go on to someplace else. If they were my employees they would all be fired. There's more including the manager who told me to leave when I asked his subordinate how I'm supposed to pump out two tanks and fuel up at the same time. He replied two people. I said me and who else? He already had my wife in tears. I'd give a -5 stars if I could. I could also go on but you get the idea. There is no concept of customer appreciation, value or satisfaction from the supervisor on down.

Spent 4 weeks here. Most slips do not have finger piers. We were a little put off in the beginning but it works out ok. The staff is amazing. Everything in KW is walkable or rent a bike. Would definitely stay here again.

Friendly. The least expensive marina in the area. They assigned us to the fuel dock in front of a huge power boat and the office--barely room for our 30ft sailboat--lots of traffic, including sightseers coming to view the pretty boats, lol. The closest real grocery store is only a few blocks away-Faustos.
