This was a great stop for us to wait out the weather. Only stayed for 2 days but could have stayed longer and enjoyed it. Good docks and fuel dock. We were toward the end of the transient dock and it was very quiet and sheltered from wakes and wind. Enjoyed visiting with other boaters. The docks and facilities are secure with locked gates. NJ Police and Coast Guard docks adjacent. Good prices on slip and fuel. Best stay in Atlantic City. Recommend the Hamburger restaurant in the Nugget- very good and reasonable prices. Fuell dock had easy access out on the end of the T dock and the assistant was great help with lines. We will certainly stay here again.

Right next to casino if that's your thing. Decent restaurants close by. Don't go to the boardwalk- it's seedy and not worth the effort. Pumpout was available, but not on our dock (as it was on others). Decent docks and restrooms. Laundry availablebut a good distance away. Would stay again, as its probably the best option in the area.

Not much to say that hasn't been said. The dock hands are great and the pump out is awesome. I thought it was too expensive and the bathrooms very shabby. I can overlook how old they are, they just aren't well taken care of. Laundry was efficient and the food at the mexican restaurant was excellent.

Helpful dock hands, pump out $10 in the slip. Floating docks, a bit of a hike to the bathrooms. Band playing at the bar next door, but quiet during sleep time. Atlantic City is in a state of decline, trying to revive itself. Took an Uber to and from the iconic Boardwalk, meh. Ate at the Chart House right next to the marina, excellent!

There are Very nice dock hands and wide floating docks. That is the only nice thing about this Marina. The restrooms were boarded up with padlocks on the door. It's a very unsafe area although there is a locked gate to get into the marina. If you like to gamble the smokey casino is right here.

Ok and probably the best choice of the choices there. Dockhands were good; bathroom/shower were far and very dated never felt unsafe. Did have a great meal at Dock's Oyster House and sat at the piano bar! The highlight for me!

Book your slip on dockwa and staff is timely to respond. The docks are well kept right on casino property. Bands play outside in summer. Several smokey smelling restaurants are available to dine in with the Chart House, smokeless, overlooking the marina. Pool and hot tub were available in October till 11 pm with a seating area and lounge style fireplace outside.
Also available a bar is located on the 6th floor with the pool. Many Uber available if you wish to travel further. Locals told us to not wander around the streets in the Golden Nugget area due to violent crime. Boardwalk is fairly far away but is 5 miles long with a lot to see.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Here again, weathered in for 9 days as remnants of Ian hung around for 6-7 days. Great wide docks, good fuel price, good power, WIFI weak @ E-03. Very good staff, plenty of water depth both in approach and at slip, every item you cold want is within a short distance.

The docks are nice and fairly protected, however the markers getting in from the channel are virtually non existent. Our biggest issue was the shower. There were cigarette butts in the shower stall and the local homeless population manages to get the bathroom codes and take over (this has happened on both of our stays there). If you have a dinghy with some power you can get to within a short walk to the Acme for provisions at the very far end of the Rum Point basin anchorage and cove. There are town docks a short dinghy ride across from the marina near Gardners Basin with some restaurants so there's definitely things to do and see.

August 7 2022 Stayed one night. Floating docks, rest rooms decent but modest walk. Decent help with line on docking. The casino is the main show here as marina is just a convenient way of getting to it. Decent protection from strong winds so safe harbor in a blow. Some of the restaurants are still closed. We did have dinner at one open though. No Boat US discount any more. Slip rate listed on Dockwa as $3' when we booked. But they actually charged $3.50' and would not give quoted price on Dockwa :( We should have just left but we had some laundry to do.

Our stay here was a good one, due to the easy access docks & the nice amenities (pool, laundry, showers). The biggest and worst issue was getting into the Atlantic City channel in the dark. We arrived at 4:30am after a 130mile trip from the North. Never been here before, and our chart plotter was a great help, but rain & fog didn't help. Either did NO channel markers from the North. Not one red & green to the main channel. Just a wall of neon lights. Very confusing. So beware.
Once we found it, it was fine to get to the marina. The gas dock was a big issue the next morn, no one around, hoses everywhere. A fellow started filling his sailboat & the hose had a hole in it. Diesel fuel all over his cockpit & in the ocean.
Anyway, it was a memorable experience and the live Reggae band on the dock bar was terrific. Met some really neat people here too.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Farley State Marina has floating docks with the expected amenities (bathrooms, showers, laundry). We chose to use the Nuggett facilities since they felt more secure (plus the hot water didn't work at the marina showers). The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of casinos and restaurants nearby. A grocery store is an 11 minute bike ride away.

Good floating docks, staff was helful and friendly. On the main channel coming into the harbor, stay closer to the wall on port. Once inside the harbor the current stops. Plenty to do in the area, there is a walking path, a shuttle to board walk and restaurants. If you llike a good pool, this is the place. Not convenient to groceries, we took an uber to grocery store. We would come back again.

This marina is pretty much what you would expect. It is adjacent to the Golden Nugget casino. It is right off the Atlantic with large newer floating docks. The dock hands were efficient but a little rushed. Like a lot of places, they are probably under-staffed. It is a little out of the way so unless you want to frequent the Golden Nugget you will need transportation. The Atlantic City Jitney makes frequent stops and costs a couple of bucks. This marina is o.k. for dogs but they are relegated to strips of grass along the entry drive.

Only reason we picked this marina was for wife to play some slots and have a pool. Marina is big and they give you runway and you pick your own slip. Was windy and no help for tying up. Never used bathrooms at marina. Casino had a nice pool but drinks were $14 each for a rum runner. We were far enough away from bands that you didn’t hear them in boat.

The people here really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. They expertly help tie you up, bring pump out straight to your slip and allow flexibility with your reservation. If you need to leave earlier than expected they'll credit your stay. We also enjoyed listening to the live bands that we could hear from the comfort of our boat. (They don't play too late so that was not a problem). We'll definitely stay there again if in the area.

We stayed here on Jul 8th, 2019. You are lucky to be answered by phone (no radio). Called many times from 16:00 to 20:00 on the way from offshore - every time (if we are lucky) phone picked up a different person, and the result was different: a) putting on hold, b) "we are completely booked", c) "come, and I'll meet you on a peer". Nobody met us, a lot of not booked transit slips. Overpriced and loudly. Men shower is terrible - dirty and no place to put your clothes except one very long bench along all cabins.

The docks were nice and spacious so docking was easy but we had trouble finding 2 x 50 amp plugs that would work. Internet was virtually nonexistent, even up at the marina office. The marina office is not always staffed, even in the middle of the day. Sometimes there’s a sign that says, “staff is out on patrol”. I would explore options before staying there again.

We always stop here coming down the New Jersey coast. It is totally protected and you're assured of a good night's sleep. The band is loud if you're close to the deck but they stop around 11:00 so it doesn't bother us. If you belong to Marina Life, you get a 25% discount Sun-Thurs but not Sat or Sun.
The great advantage of this marina for me is the excellent security with locked gates and a security guard is always in view. Don't forget to have dinner at the Chart House.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Facilities are adequate but prices are good. The Golden Nugget is adjacent and has a deck that overlooks the marina. The nightly entertainment at the Golden Nugget may keep you up at night if you are a light sleeper or are allergic to really bad music. The facilities are a little worn out but functional. Staff are helpful and fuel is available on the outer dock. It had a strong feel of ‘Jersey Shore’. I would not go back there unless there were no other options.

No one answers the phone. I have tried to stop here two times in the past 3 months and have had a tough time getting a hold of anyone. I tried to connect to the fuel dock, reservations, dock master and tried to go through the switchboard. Last time I tried to stop there the fuel system was down. Both times I had to go across the harbor where the service was great!
