Eric from the marina was very helpful when we arrived and docked our boat. He was very organized and gave us all the relevant information (entrance code, bathhouse location, fuel dock, etc.) as well as recommendations for lunch and dinner.

We have been staying at this marina for occasional trip for more than 30 years and enjoy coming back. It is convenient to a historic town and well managed. It doesn't have a pool but none of its competitors here have one either.

Well maintained facilities and friendly staff.

Overall a positive experience which began with such welcoming service and attentiveness from dockhand Sidney. She helped us get a pumpout and get docked- fantastic job. The fairways are tight for anything north of 40'. No laundry. The restrooms / showers were clean but dated. It's a great town- don't miss the Graw Alley art exhibit as it is spectacular and a short walk from the marina.

A little tight maneuvering for larger boats. Services adequate. The town of Havre de Grace however is awesome, too bad it is a bit off the beaten path. Easily walkable and things to see and do. Take the trip to the top of the Bay and check it out!

Very nice marina with great view if you are toward the front. Some of the docks are pretty short so it may be difficult to get on and off. It was rough while we were there so it was rocky but not as bad as other marinas. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Nice marina. My wife wasn't crazy about the showers/restrooms & they are a little "campy". It's a little tight for bigger boats but the staff is great.

Ten miles off the Upper Chesapeake travelway, Havre de Grace gets bypassed by the vast majority of Atlantic Coast boaters. It's a shame because there is much to like here. Tidewater Marina is located in the middle of the historic town with museums, restaurants, arts, shops, and Bomboys Ice Cream within easy walking distance. It is a good place to tie up for a day or two to relax and enjoy the town.

Tidewater is a working marina; there are many boats on the hard being worked on by staff, contactors, and owners getting ready for the season. Located in the heart of Havre de Grace, the marina consists of three separate basins, each containing docks for different sized boats. The entrance to each basin is tight and, on a 48 foot boat, we were very careful maneuvering into our slip. All the docks are fixed and with a three foot tide and no cleats to tie off to, a good line strategy is important. We deployed fender boards even though there were bumpers on the pylons. The dock that we were on had just been redone as part of what appears to be an ongoing marina maintenance program. None of the fixtures were new but water and power connections were well maintained and worked with no problems.

The marina staff was responsive to our needs. Telephones were answered, radios were responded to and there were two staff members on the dock to assist us. The staff at the well maintained office/store was very accommodating. Like the docks, the bath house was clean and well maintained. Six individual units each contained shower, toilet, sink, and dressing area. We faulted the marina for its lack of laundry facilities. The marina is secured behind keypad controlled gates and is well illuminated at night. We felt comfortable during our stay. Marina Wi-Fi was excellent and cellular reception was very good for T-Mobile and good for Verizon an AT&T. The marina was quiet at night with the exception of the high speed NYC/DC passenger trains coming by about a half mile away.

We enjoyed Havre de Grace. The maritime museum was very interesting and the choice of restaurants for eating out was good. We could easily come back and spend more time in this marina and in the town.

August 11,12 2022 stayed two days here. Older facilities but exceptionally well kept. Washrooms/ showers individual rooms. Clean, well stocked, ventilation fans, air conditioned, clean and on timers along with motion lights. Hooks on doors and functional clean mats in the showers. On site marine store fairly well stocked and reasonable prices. Older electric pedestals but in good condition well maintained. Nice town to visit and outstanding Ice Cream store Bomboy's Ice Cream Yummy! One of best I've ever been to. Entrance to marina is narrow so need to use power when transiting to maintain steering. Fixed docks so need to tie up accordingly

Would stay again. Getting into slips is tight but doable. Good cell coverage and wifi. Great town to visit. Can easily walk it but bikes make it much easier to see more (of course). If nothing else, walk the main streets. Music is playing from speakers mounted in poles throughout downtown. Find your way to the waterfront walkway on the south side of town. No laundry or clubhouse but busy marina with all you need. Nice individual head/showers. Grocery is about 3 miles (According to a local). In order to take a pic, my wife was standing in one of those slanted parking spaces you find in many small town main streets. A young person subtly "urged" my wife to move so she could park her car. We walked down the street a short distance and somebody came up and apologized saying that the driver should have waited to let you finish because: "That is just not how we roll in this town."

Well worth the trip up here. You have to want to get here. Very nice town to spend a couple of days. Lots of antique stores.

Very quiet and comfortable marina. Docks were in great shape. Basins are tight to maneuver around in (for a 50' boat), but it's doable. WiFi was fast, water pressure was great. Relaxing modest rocking from passing boats. Considered one of the mooring balls, and glad we settled on a slip - as we would have been rocked apart from all the boats in the river. Marine store is well stocked. On-site services available. Great location to walk around town. Bath houses are adequate. If we come back to the north end of the bay, we'll definitely stay here again.
