Alice Town, Bimini – After conducting an extensive assessment of their property in the wake of Hurricane Irma, Bimini Big Game Club Resort and Marina is pleased to announce they will be open and fully operational by Friday, September 29, 2017. The resort’s signature restaurant, Bimini Big Game Club Bar & Grill, will open with a limited menu on September 21, 2017. The property’s onsite dive partner, Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center, fared well during the storm and is already open for business.
Located in North Bimini in The Bahamas, Bimini Big Game Club Resort and Marina suffered a small amount of damage from Hurricane Irma that required the property to temporarily close its doors. The resort also used the time to make minor repairs and conduct a deep cleaning before the beginning of the island’s busy dive season.
“While our thoughts continue to be with those affected by Hurricane Irma, we feel fortunate to have weathered the storm,” said Beth Watson, Director of Bimini Big Game Club Resort and Marina. “We’re grateful to our dedicated team who have been working hard to get us reopened and look forward to welcoming our guests back soon.”
