The downtown district of Manitowoc is on both sides of the river at the 8th Street Bridge, a few blocks from Manitowoc Marina. Plenty of restaurants, shops and town services are available. There is a popular Farmers’ Market Tuesdays and Saturdays near the Public Library at the bridge. There is also a first-run movie theater a short walk from the marina.
