Lion’s Head is a pleasant summer retreat with a sand beach in the harbor, a rock beach facing the bay and the Bruce Trail passing right through town along the waterfront. If you head north or through the forest to the south, you will find easy access for hiking along the cliff face.
Like so much of this region, the night sky offers superb stargazing; so much so that Lion’s Head a designated Dark Sky community. Lion's Head has a few stores, excellent restaurants, a Farmers' Market, and live music in the harbour on the weekend.
