Seneca Falls is a wonderful quiet town and pleasant stop for cruisers and one of the most popular destinations on the entire Erie Canal System.
Some believe Seneca Falls was the inspiration for the holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” (released in 1946). There’s a year-round museum at 32 Fall St. (315-568-5838) and a weekend-long festival in December that celebrates the town and the movie.
