Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 49'
Draft: 5.0'The bridge tender is a man of few words but polite and attentive. We also radioed ahead knowing openings are in the hour & half hour, only had to slow down due to the no wake zones. That said, the radio traffic after we passed, indicated most boaters don't have a clue about the schedule - probably quite exasperating to put up with for a full shift

Draft: 0.0'Approached bridge from south, radioed bridge tender approx. .6 miles from bridge at 11:39am. Tender responded he would open promptly at 12:00pm. Right side of bridge swung open at 11:59 am and we were through and on our way within 5 minutes. Easy process.

Draft: 6.0'I have had bad experiences with the bridge tender here every time I have been through. Opening times off, bridge tender never answers radio and so on.

Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 42'
Draft: 4.0'Thursday, June 11, 10 am, the bridge is closed due to high water. The Bridge Tender says it will not open until the water drops. Right now it is still going up. He would not tell us when it is likely to open again. “Maybe tomorrow”...

Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 43'
Draft: 3.0'Contrary to published schedule. The bridge opens at 9:00 am as needed for boat traffic. And I can see why. There is nonstop rush hour traffic even backed up sometimes. It’s a beautiful morning surrounded by pine trees and Canada geese low overhead. I’m good with the 1 1/2 hr wait.
