This is a shallow basin with good wind protection from the NE through SW. Open to the West and North. Average depth is about 6 feet. Good holding in grass and sand with the right anchor. The Ocean View Restaurant has a small boat dock that they let anyone use to eat at the restaurant or go get supplies. One of the few places that will let you dock a dinghy in Islamorada.
