• Depth: 7 to 15 feet
• Description: If you take your dinghy to the beach, forget about using the outboard motor. The weed growth can be unbelievably thick. It is possible to row, but it may be an extremely tedious process. On a south wind, anchor across the lake from the fort, north of Mount Independence.
