Lee Stocking Island
- Location: Southern Exumas

- Depth: 6-8 Feet8'-12'
- Tide: 2.5'-3.0'
- Description:
There is extensive shoaling on the north end of Lee Stocking Island making it difficult for vessels drawing more than 6.5' to approach the docks of the former research station. There is an area of deep water directly in front of the station that offers the maximum protection from the N-E but to reach it requires visual navigation while hugging the shoreline to traverse an area of 6.5'-7' grass covered shoals. For all but the most severe weather it is easier to anchor outside of the shoal in 8'-12' of water. The holding is good and the protection from N-E winds is almost the same as that closer to shore.
