Practical travel guide
Thousands of miles of trawler travel and the Skipper Bob books are the best we have found, period. There are lots of color catalogs and cruising guides that are fine for local attractions, but not much use for cruisers. Between the chart plotter and Skipper Bob, navigation was never an issue. We always knew what was coming up next on the waterways and where we were going to be able to stay for the night.

What a great help this was in my last ICW cruise
What a help this book was during my 3 week cruise down the ICW. Had the major marinas included along with their associated ICW mile marker. Having the mile marker was really a help since I could easily estimate the time to reach each marina. Based on this, I just ordered the Skipper Bob Anchorages book.

Must Have!!
This spiral-bound cheaply printed 8 1/2" X 11" Skipper Bob publication is a must- have for any boater who wishes to cruise in either direction on any of this Nation's Intracoastal Waterways. It is invaluable, and we know it from experience. In fact, this is the second one I have owned having used the first and resold it as used, and then, upon making another trip down the East Coast, purchased another. It is even better when used in conjunction with Anchorages Along the Intracoastal Waterway (which is another Skipper Bob publication) and the Waterway Guide. If you are going to do the trip, be smart and get this invaluable tool. You will find facilities, phone numbers, locations, fuel availability, and on and on and on!! Great product, highly recommended.
