Enjoyed the mile by mile advice. This is a terrific guide book.

Perfect and thorough guide
This was exactly what we needed- lock names, distance between, height, along with important navigational notes regarding hazards (and nice side notes of pleasantries if you have time to explore)

A very easy to read and follow guide....
We bought this book for a supplement to a Erie Canal Boat Trip... It's a good book, well written, and easy to follow, but we didn't get to make the trip...
The trip was postponed, then the boat was sold... Now we are outfitting our new boat, hoping to make the trip next year...
