We discovered after getting hauled by Tom Concannon at Riverside Marina Inc. that there are indeed two businesses doing business on the same yard as Riverside. A friend had recommended Riverside but had only dealt with Sally Gooch, we later learned. Sally Gooch runs Heritage Enterprises DBA Riverside Marina on the same property and is the one with the good reputation. We, unfortunately, were confused by the varied reviews and were hauled by Tim Concannon assuming his Riverside was the one our friend had a good experience with. Do not make the same mistake. Among other problems, Tim's lift and yard on his side are not maintained, they do not follow common safety protocols, and they are well known for adding unexpected charges as they did for us costing much more than we were told when we got the prices. The upper rails on his lift do not move so they could not place the straps in the correct places as marked on our boat, instead, manhandling the straps to get close and causing some minor damages. Knowing we were unhappy with how the boat was place in the straps and after they processed our credit card, Tim refused to launch our boat until we paid in cash. They refunded only the cost of "services" and not the credit card fee. The credit took more than a week to show up on our credit card. Harbortown nearby had less expensive charges for everything except storage with a better reputation. People on the Heritage side of the yard we talked to were all very happy with her services, and we saw a new, well maintained lift and a very different business ethic on her side as they operated. Assume all the good reviews are for her side of the yard. I can't imagine any of them for Tim's side after our nightmare experience. I only put one star because zero is not an option.
