Have my boat here for the winter. Very good customer service. They have a great program and are comprehensive. Too bad we are leaving the Great Lakes next year. Otherwise we would be back!

Larsen Marine Services of Waukegan is a full service marine enterprise with expertise in everything from minor issues up to major repairs. We cannot speak to the full spectrum of services because our experience was specific but we can speak to the services advertised and what we received.

Mark Kish, the service manager engaged us a week out, listened to our problem, researched the issues, ordered the parts, prepared to receive us, helped us dock, and then assigned the appropriate person to the job and made sure that the work was done properly. If necessary there is a 50 ton travel lift for work the needs to be done on the hard.

The service staff was excellent and professional. All the work was done properly and it was clear that the staff was expected to treat customers and their boats with respect. Our work was done on schedule and the charges presented were reasonable, considering the unique nature of our problem and that they managed to move technicians around to meet our schedule. The ships store also doubles as the parts department and it appeared that they had a wide selection of parts on hand and the ability to get parts in either by pre-order or special order for next day delivery.

Larsen Marine Services is an excellent choice for marine service issues for both locals and through-boaters.
