Hancock Marina is fantastic. As stated by another reviewer, 'Chesapeake meets New England'. Floating docks run parallel to current of tidal river; 30A & 50A service, water, fuel, laundry, ice, basic bathrooms & showers. Dockmasters Scott and Jeff are salty professionals and expertly assist with everything from docking assistance in often stiff currents to emergency tows from Delaware Bay & dives to clear tangled lines. These are just a few of the tasks I watched as these pros assisted boaters. The Bait Box bar & restaurant is open weekends and draws hundreds from all over with good food and live music. Outdoor & indoor dining. Shoprite & Amazon delivers to dock. Weekdays are nice, peaceful and private with a few liveaboards and permanent RVers. Solitude during weekdays, lively party on weekends, great people and amenities. This marina has it all.

The dockmasters are the amongst the BEST I have ever met! Their knowledge of the C&D and Delaware Bay is invaluable. Even in stiff currents they make docking a breeze. Easy access to fuel dock just before the bridge. Good restaurant. I was going to do an overnight here but decided on 3 days R&R (repairs and relaxation). The dockhands were expertly attentive to every boater, whether tying up for a bite at the restaurant, fueling, or staying for a while. A must stop, for me, before or after the C&D.

Excellent marina, staff and facilities. Well protected from wind and waves. Great amenities; pool, hot tub, sauna, grills, fuel & pumpout dock, abundant carts.
