November 2 2021 this dock access has been here for many years. Before the nice new free day dock you could access town here. It has been improved and sturdier than in the past. Best I can tell it is 180' dingy goes on inside, boats on outside. When new free dock is full you still have a chance to land here.

This is really two docks,
The first is south of the marina by the boat launch ramp, older wood dock, very serviceable, 140' long, dock boats on outside only (dingys inside)
The second dock is along the sea wall between the marina and the bridge. Nice new "aluminum" dock, about 120' outside space and room for two 50'ers on the inside (or four smaller 20ish boats). Right on the down town row.
Note: sign states No overnight, No docking 1 am to 6 am.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
