Stopped here before the next lock. Very deep (about 9 feet over all) with some deeper spots as well, the floating docks were very nice, however, the terminal wall lacked cleats. They do have bathroom facilities to use BUT make sure you email, or call ahead during business hours to get the code to get into them. Short walk into town for a grocery store, gas station, and pizza place (great meat lovers pizza). Quiet and very protected from the weather.

This is a hidden gem, the harbor was dredged in Fall of 2021. So, there is plenty of depth now. The wall and floating docks are situated in a natural harbor at a quiet, beautiful, well maintained town park. There aren't any services here (-1 star). But, there is a micro-brewery with it's own dock with a depth of 4 ' right next to the town docks. We thoroughly enjoyed talking to the Brewmaster and local clientele. Frankfort has a grocery store, laundromat, bakery, post office, bank and pizzeria within walking distance. We will definitely return to this lovely spot again.

Entry off Erie Canal is clear and controlling depth into the creek where the marina is located is 8 feet before deepening to 14 - 16' heading back to where the marina is located. Depth drops precipitously as you leave the marked depths and stopped us when we hit bottom at 5' depth well short of the marina. Calls to the Town Office for clarification went unanswered. We anchored in the marked deeper water instead.
