We stopped here for the restaurants and shopping and ended up staying the night. There were signs in from of the Greg Norman restaurant about no overnight docking but just down the same dock in front of Lulu's restaurant, there were no such signs. We asked in the restaurant about staying the night and nobody objected.
There are no services here but the docks are very nice. Beware of the strong currents here when docking/undocking.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Finger docks wouldn't accommodate us but at each end of the finger docks were long flat docks that would accommodate. Great place to stretch legs and walk pup. No boats docked this Wednesday at 11:40am.

We stopped here for lunch and did not try to stay overnight since it's clearly marked as a day dock. We were the only boat there on that November 2023 Wednesday. Docks are in good condition. Strong tidal current can make it tricky to get into a slip, but there are some dock wall accommodations, too. I suspect this place is very crowded on weekends.
Walking distance to many shopping and dining options -- mostly of the tourist variety. We had a good lunch at Taco Mundo, which is right there, and then walked around the little lake and visited a few shops. We also had a tasting at the nearby Kentucky Mist distillery.
It was a good enroute stop.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Our second time staying overnight on this free wall. No one hassling overnighters that we have seen, on either occasion.
Another good meal at Taco Mundo
*Almost* no room for us coming in on a Saturday afternoon in July, as this area of the ICW is busy on weekends, and this is a destination.
Our beam is 14.5, so backing into most slips would not work. But there are one or two that do not have a piling between the fingers. So we fit in just fine there. We moved around to the wall on the west end just to have fewer "eyes" looking in from the outside restaurant tables.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Floating docks. There are about 40 slips that are about 13' wide and 2 side tie docks. A portion of the North side tie dock was being repaired and roped off. There is no sign that prohibits overnight docking. There are gated (no locked) entrances down to the docks and we saw no one except boaters on the docks. Great stop with a ton to do.

Southbound. Stopped here after fueling across the channel to wait for high tide at Socastee Bridge (mm371). At low tide we tied up with 5.8' depth by Greg Norman's, just south of the last finger dock, the north end was on mud at low tide (finger docks look to be about 35', and could take up to 40' easily). Blueberry Grill (all day b'fast) was the only thing open before 10a, but doesn't disappoint. We were the only boat, and left after dark (7p).

Great amenities all within walking distance. Security always walking around. Asked about staying overnight since I got there just before sunset and they weren't too worried about it as long as I didn't make any noise. The nightlife there was very interesting to say

Great stop for the day to explore the shops and walk to the beach (1 mile walk, 5 star beach).
The landing has slips for about 20 smaller boats (20-30 ft) and the two ends have about 100' space each for bigger. Note the south end had about 4 ft water at MLW.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

New docks (slips) are in place however there is no water/electricity or dock master. Great place to stop for lunch or shopping. No overnighters! There is some current and you will be docking with the current on the beam. There is still a side to dock in front of Greg Norman's Grill.

Free "Day Dock" - This is a great pit stop as well as overnighter. Every waterfront & river town should cater to boaters like this.

They don't have a dock master or marina manager at present, so there is no one to confirm this is free. Woman in their office simply said the marina is closed.
I had no problem staying there, and was the only boat on the dock. But without someone saying 'yes, you can stay here', I was worried.-

Second visit was better than first. We stayed overnight this time through. Very quiet at night & very little night time traffic to rock the docks. Great Dock master (Brad) & extremely helpful.

Very friendly and helpful dockmaster. No pumpout, showers or restrooms (unless you use the public Barefoot Landing restrooms). Great location to access Barefoot Landing attractions including Alabama theater. Great spot for the kids too.
