Stayed July 2 and 3, 2023: Traveled with 4 other boats/couples. Pros: Very clean marina just off the GICW in Hitchcock TX. 30 minutes by boat from Galveston. Very nice facility, with floating docs, fuel and free pump out. Nice ship store w food. Pool for over 21 and a separate kids pool. Bar at the adult pool is a nice plus, but not opened every day. Rita was a great help in all things related to our stay. Bathrooms and Showers were nice compared to most marinas. We were there on a really hot weekend and there are lots of umbrellas and nice awning by the pool to protect you. Putt putt course was fun.
Cons:
Had problems with power surges and the Marina had electricians working on it quickly. Horseflies at dusk were bad so we jumped back in the pool. They were out for less than an hour. Other than the well stocked ship store there are no nearby amenities so come with everything you need.
We enjoyed our stay and will return.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Huge facility is not lush but has everything you need, except Wi-Fi, so I give it 3.5 stars. Friendly staff, friendly dock mates. On site food/bar and fair diesel pricing. Womens shower was under construction during our visit so the men's was temporarily used by both. Showers have locks for privacy. Easy Uber to downtown or the Stand.
Lots of people around do it felt safe. Our 480MY was housed on D dock which is covered so that was nice. 12 feet depth at our slip. A very convenient and affordable one night stay. We will go back.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
