Good holding here and we experienced very little swell during a clocking cold front. Good protection from W to ENE. Exposed to ESE winds. Pete's Pub is about 1.5nm dinghy ride across the Bight. There is essentially no other local boat traffic on this side of the Bight so it's a quiet spot and away from most everyone else. Good access from here to the lovely creeks and flats for kayak and paddle boarding. Cell signal was weak.

We're locals and have spent a few nights here on the hook. It's our "go to" anchorage nearby our home port marina at Ocean's Edge Resort. Tidal flow is strong and will swing your vessel 180 degrees but no problems with our Rocna and chain holding. Some local color living aboard nearby but not disruptive other than occasional dog barking. Nice breezes here and protected on NE to SE winds. Awesome Key West sunset views from this anchorage!
