We needed a marina to dock our boat for two weeks during the high Looper traffic season. Midway Marina in Fulton, MS was the only one in the southern part of Tombigbee Waterway section of the Loop to accommodate us.
We were very pleased to have our trawler place in a covered slip, which we understand is unusual for transients. Our first point of contact was affectionately known as "Grumpy" who assisted us with our lines and gave us a warm welcome. The folks with boats on D Dock were very friendly, and Mark, who has a long-term slip there, went out of his way to be helpful.
The grounds are expansive and well-maintained. Our sporting dog loved his walks. The frisbee golf course is a nice amenity. The restaurant is excellent, with hearty portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We ate there before leaving the boat to go home for a week and again when we got back from our trip.
The marina staff was warm, welcoming, and responsive. Decorations for the seasons was a nice touch. When we left there were fall and Halloween decorations and we returned to the signs of Christmas.
We used the pumpout on the dock and also the courtesy car without issues.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

If you are looking for a quiet and secluded spot to dock for the night in Kingston, this is not it. For us, we couldn't have been more pleased. Patrick Sheehan, dock master, was responsive and very helpful. We stayed for two nights and by the end of our stay, we felt we had a new friend. The power, water, and WiFi were great! Good voltage, municipal water, and fast connectivity. We travel with an active dog who needs exercise. Kingston is very dog friendly and there seem to be endless options for a good long walk. The truly unique feature of this marina is the location right in the center of all the activity. There are excellent restaurant choices, unique shops, art scene, and we enjoyed a live concert with the best possible seats - our boat's fly bridge. If you enjoy people watching and you have a dog who enjoys bird watching, Kingston City Marina is an excellent choice!

We enjoyed our two night stay at HMB Marina! Prior to arrival we received clear instruction from Steve, the marina manager, on location of slip including a diagram and picture, how to approach, and that he would be on hand to grab lines. He was always courteous, attentive, and a responsive communicator when we had questions no matter how trite.

> When our power cord was a little short he brought an extension. He also helped us cast off lines at departure.
>
> He was helpful in finding local attractions, which are numerous including The Tavern at Croton Landing (20 min walk), Rockefeller Estate, Van Cortlandt Manor, Croton Dam and Falls, and Croton Point Park.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
