Great wind protection it was quite deceptive when leaving anchorage how protected you really were. 2 knots inside 27 outside the day we were there. Will come back every time now!

2 dock hands helped us in and we were greeted well. $2 a foot and easy access to lots of restaurants and grocery stores. piggy wiggly less than a mile. Come in at slack tide.

Anchorage Review for Swansboro Marker 45B

Good protection from northern winds as a long tall tree line there. Was very calm the night we stayed it might have better holding if winds were stronger but currents rip here. A lot of shallowing we are a 5 foot draft and barely had water to the south of the green marker and only could go in about 20ft past marker to drop anchor.
