The YC is gr8! Everyone is very friendly.
Beverly is a nice respite from touristy Salem which is about 3 mi across the bridge.

Excellent fresh seafood dinner at The Anchor - local pub and restaurant. Live lobsters right off the boats available at pier a short walk from the YC.

Excellent staff and facilities! Staff is helpful and personable. Facilities are well- maintained and clean..
Stayed on a mooring for 2 nights. Easy walk across the bridge into New Bedford. Gotta watch the swing bridge opening for boat traffic to pass.

Gr8 dinner at Fathoms across the street. Will def return here and explore Fairhaven side of the harbor .

Anchorage Review for West Harbor - Fishers Island

Lots of anchorage room outside the inner harbor to the East. Good holding. A little rolly-polly till evening. Winds were blowing SE 10-12. When we turned into the harbor entrance, winds were funneling own the center of the harbor.

Well- protected bay off LIS. Narrow yet deep entrance. Lots of water inside. Nice clubhouse and everyone very helpful and friendly.

one caution - G3 near the entrance should be a Red! keep it on starboard when entering or youll go aground in 2'.

Awesome marina! Stayed here for 2 nights to ride out storms.

Chris, Natalie, Heidi, Joe and Kai were extremely personable, patient and helpful!! Spotless showers and modern laundromat. Floating docks. Easy walk to great restaurants and W Marine. Free shuttle to downtown Cape May.

Excellent harbormaster Tom and dockhand Aubrey helped us tie up along bulkhead. Diesel is reasonably priced and EZ in-out at fuel dock.

Only downside is tidal change. Had to jump down from the dock onto the deck about 5' at low tide.

Tom and Audrey checked and adjusted everyines dock lines before they left in the evening. They are awesome!
