Needed a quick stop between Portland and Portsmouth. Spent one night here on a mooring. Superb staff. Super friendly. Well protected area. Free launch. Able to get Uber into town, but expect a wait. We were treated to a fireworks display over the bay that night.

Spent a few nights here on a mooring ball. Beautiful location, calm waters with boaters who respect the no wake zone. A few waves when a storm blew through but not bad. Free launch service. Very friendly and helpful staff all around.

One long dock in the middle of downtown Portsmouth, just upriver from the first lift bridge. Wicked current on the River. Highly suggest waiting for slack tide coming and going. Great dockmaster. Very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help with anything. Lots of great restaurants nearby. No parking for the marina. Public parking up the street.
