Good protection from North - SE. Lots of room so even with 15 boats you did not feel crowded at all. After leaving all the craziness of Staniel Cay, Black Point was a great stop. Good access to town using the dinghy dock at Loraines. Stopped there for a rum punch before we walked through town. Couple of small shops, Adderleys had a nice selection to include some produce and blueberries which we hadn’t seen in awhile. Everyone we ran into was very friendly and welcoming. We stopped in DeShamons restaurant and had one of the best pizza’s I have ever eaten!!! Overall a great stop,

Pulled into this Anchorage to escape some upcoming winds that were going to come from various directions. Follow the channel in past Little Palm Key. Charting depths are accurate. Saw 6’ or more all the way in. Plenty of space for quite a few boats. Picnic Island is nearby Which is popular with locals. Couple restaurants/bars nearby with dinghy docks. Very quiet spot 1/2 way between Key West and Marathon. No bug issues!
