This anchorage was great when the wind was from the South to the SW. Once the wind shifted out of the West, and especially with a northern component, I and most other boats were rocking uncomfortably in the swell. In stronger winds from the west through the north I found it more comfortable on the east side of Leaf Cay.

I travelled though the cut from the Spanish Wells side to the Glass Window side. My target was to go through the cut at or around slack at high tide. I entered the mouth of the cut one hour and twenty-four minutes past Nassau high tide. (I read about slack high tide at the cut being around one hour forty-five minutes past Nassau high tide. As the flooding tide runs East at Current Cut, that is from the Spanish Wells side to the Glass Window side, by going through a little early I figured I'd have a little current helping push me though.) Though the narrowest part of the cut my speed only increased one quarter knot. Never did I feel out of control of the boat. With the help of my chart plotter navigating was pretty straight forward.
I arrived a few hours before I wanted to go through the cut. I anchored north of the cut, and I walked into town and then to the cut. Pretty cool sight as the water flowing though the cut, a few hours before slack tide, looked more like a fast-moving river.

As expected, great protection from winds out of the NE to east. Lots of sand with good holding.

I anchored at the Southwest mouth. Great holding. Current, I thought, was minimal. Cell phone coverage, with cellular internet, was spotty but I got it by placing my phone in a high location. Calm, tranquil, anchorage in a late November.

I followed the directions for accessing this anchorage and had no problems. I had no problem with holding despite the current.
