Contacted this marina to inquire about docking for a couple of hours, during the day, to do laundry and take on water. Was told they do no not do short term dockage, and gave a 2 day minimum! Not very accommodating to a transient boater.

Needed to do laundry, take on water, a few groceries, and pump out. Doug, Mike, Colby, and Alice were very helpful, professional, and more than friendly. Access to the transient dock, and docking was very easy. Colby and Mike were waiting for us, to catch and secure our lines. We did not stay the night, but they were really accommodating, regardless. The marina is clean, and well maintained. The washers and dryers were new in the Fall of 2023, and were free to use. There was also no charge for the pump out. Would definitely recommend Safe Harbor Plymouth!

Anchorage Review for Great Misery Island-Cocktail Cove

We tried catching a mooring ball, but could not get our line on it. Maybe better in the summer, but a terrible fall anchorage. Spent a very bumpy night anchored outside the cove, away from the mooring balls. The saturation of mooring balls should be noted in the Full Listing for this location.

Great place to stop. Long, floating transient dock. $35.00 CDN per night, including power, water, and local sales tax. Stay 2 nights, the 3rd night is free! Very friendly, helpful staff. They drove us the 2 miles to the shopping area, and brought us back to the marina when we were done. Did not give them 5 stars because there was no fuel, no pump out, and the shopping was not within walking distance. Definitely recommended as an overnight or several day stop.

Marina Review for Ballantyne's Cove Marina

Small, fairly protected marina and local fishing harbour. Friendly, helpful staff (thanks Will), and local boaters. My wife dropped a fender in the water and a super, 11 year old young man, on his birthday, retrieved it for us without being asked to do so (thanks Mack). $1.00 per foot, per night, including power. On-site showers $2.00 for 5 minutes. Nearest shopping is a 1/2 hour drive, one way, by taxi. Only reasons they did not get a 5 star rating. On-site take out has excellent seafood and other fast food choices. Bluefin Tuna Interpretation Center on-site.

Small marina, locally known as the Port Hawkesbury Marina. Exposed to commercial traffic in the Ship Harbour next door. Shopping and restaurants about 1 km / 1/2 mile away, but it is uphill all the way. The day we were there, the wait for a taxi was 1 hour +. Bringing a cart, loaded with supplies, back to the marina, was a bit of a challenge.
