Bridge comment on Manasota Beach Road Bridge

Charts say 26’ clearance, but depth gage on bridge reads 20. Bridge keeper finally told us by radio that there’s an additional 3’ in the center. Keeper did not respond on Ch. 13 nor on Ch. 9. Finally got a response on Ch. 9 after we blew our horn.
