Marina Review for Gloucester Southeast Harbor Mooring Field

These are docks, not slips, as the focus is powerboats, camping and fishing, and not all of them have electrical service. We found it best to tie up stern to in on our 29' sloop. The staff is very friendly and there is plenty within walking distance. The Lighhouse Inn nearby is a good place to stay with an excellent restaurant and bar right on the water. There is a great commercial fishing museum and the Washington House shop and ice cream parlor where the "ice cream sunday" was invented.

If you're staying at the resort, this is the only option in the area. It's more docks than a marina. The town is extremely small and friendly. Maritime museum nearby is worth the walk and cost of entry. Shoreline restaurant (the only one in the immediate area) is excellent but closed on Mondays.

The facility is in good repair and the staff is friendly and helpful. The town is walking distance and there are a number of excellent restaurants nearby. Shopping for provisions will require an Uber or Lyft ride though.

30 slip private marina. Larson marine boat sales and brokerage, North Sails sail loft both on site. Very nice people, friendly and accommodating. Great location right in town.
