We spent 10 days here after running aground in the river. Excellent restaurant and open air bar, very fresh fish. Bathrooms and showers are small but functional, laundry is a walk, one washer and one dryer, cold water only. Fuel, water and power at the slips. We tied up to the dock that the commercial fishing vessels use to offload. Everyone very friendly. Staff will run you to the hardware store or Dollar General. This is a major fishing adventure place and people are coming and going all the time and the fish are incredible. I really loved this place.

This time of year it’s quiet. We stayed for 3 weeks during Christmas and New Year. Tide range was in excess of 3’ due to weather. Docks are not floating so you need to adjust your lines. Power and water at the dock. No laundry or showers. Bathrooms are clean and available in the coffee shop/church after 7am.
There’s a large ice machine that sells ice at $1.50 for 20lb bulk or 16lb bags.
Entrance is approx 8’ during low tide; we draft 5’ and made it fine.
During sunmer months this place is super busy as it hosts mostly commercial fishing tours and dolphin adventures.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
