Honestly the friendliest club we visited while in Annapolis, (unlike the "other" club with a similar name) . Docks are sturdy and well kept. Nice people at the docks and wonderful follow up from the dock master when calling to make arrangements to stay. Would stay again for sure.

Marina Review for Annapolis Yacht Club-PRIVATE

Not a very "transient friendly" place. We are yacht club members at a reciprocal club in Clearwater so was able to make a reservation here. All reciprocals we have ever stayed at are very welcoming and treat us like we are members of their own club. Not the case here. No amenities to speak of - just bathroom/shower that open while the club is open but they do not give the door code for after hours access. No laundry (this page says there is) and although they have a large parking lot - I was not allowed to park my rental car in the lot because the lot "is for members only". Had to pay $20 a day to keep it in the lot next door.
No dock master present to help you dock - luckily we don't need help but if you do, you're out of luck. When the dock master did show up he said he did not make the reservation so not sure why we are where we are - I told him we would happily move to a different slip and he said "this is the only place your boat will fit". (lol doesn't that kind of explain why the person that made the reservation put us here?)
Lastly, when I walked up to desk to inquire about amenities I asked if there was a fitness room and she replied "yes, but its not open yet" (meaning its under construction) but then she added "but it will be for members only so, you wouldn't be able to use it" . (why not just stop at "no, no fitness, sorry"?)
I found this club to be very cold and unwelcoming - only exception being our server when we went to club for a night cap. She was very friendly.
Oh and I did get a call after we finished docking to say the club WANTED TO REMIND ME OF THE CHECK OUT TIME (even though no paperwork , welcome pack, wifi code, nothing was given to us upon check in) . I literally hadn't even finished hooking the boat up yet.
Very disappointed here - looking forward to moving over to Maryland Capital Yacht Club tomorrow.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Best marina to stay in downtown Tampa with full amenities including laundry, spa like showers, gym and beautiful 3rd floor outdoor pool. Wonderful food (you can order room service on your boat) and bar and the staff, including the dock master Earle, are amazing. We keep our boat there year-round and wouldn't have it any other way. Must be able to clear bridge - I believe approx 17ft.
The walk down river walk is wonderful at night - plenty of dining options as well as food delivery with the apps door dash or uber eats.-
WG Editor Comment:
The S. Franklin Bridge is charted at 10 feet. According to the marina website the vertical clearance is approximately 18 feet at low tide and 16 feet at high tide.
